Selling with Gear Up is simple, organized, and designed to help busy families earn money from the kids’ items they no longer need.
Instead of selling one item at a time, you can prep your items once, drop them off, and let Gear Up handle the sale.
Here’s how it works:
1. Clean and Tag Your Items
Start by gathering the children’s items your family has outgrown. This may include clothing, shoes, toys, books, baby gear, strollers, bikes, ride-on toys, play kitchens, outdoor toys, and more.
Before tagging, take a little time to clean your items and make sure they are in good condition.
At Gear Up, we like to say: CLEAN = CASH! Clean items look better, attract more shoppers, and are more likely to sell.
2. Drop Them Off
One or two days before the sale, sellers will bring their tagged items to the Gear Up sale location during the designated drop-off window.
Once your items are dropped off, our team takes it from there.
No Facebook Marketplace listings. No porch pickups. No answering dozens of messages. No waiting for someone who may or may not show up.
Gear Up handles the event setup, shoppers, checkout, staffing, and sale-day details.
3. Get Paid
Once the sale begins, you can watch your items sell through our database.
You get to see your earnings grow while your items find new homes with local families.
Gear Up is a great way to clear out clutter, earn extra income, and help other families find quality children’s items at family-friendly prices.
Whether you are hoping to sell, shop, or both, we would love to help you Gear Up.
